Exclusive roofing leads with no contract
Month-to-month billing, cancellation from your own dashboard, and a one-time purchase option if you don't want a subscription at all.
Ask around any roofing forum and you'll hear the same story: a contractor signs up for a lead service or marketplace advertising program, the leads underperform, and then they discover the fine print — a 6- or 12-month commitment that keeps billing long after they've stopped answering the leads. Contractors widely report multi-month advertising commitments in the marketplace world, and getting out of one usually means escalating through retention reps or eating months of fees.
Roffy takes the opposite position. Every retail subscription is month-to-month with cancellation available anytime from your own dashboard — no phone call, no retention script. And if you don't want a recurring subscription at all, each tier is also available as a one-time purchase. The leads themselves are still fully exclusive: each one sold to a single contractor and locked for 30-90 days depending on tier (see how per-lead exclusivity works).
Why lead services lock you into contracts
A long-term contract on a lead service is a tell. Think about what it does for the provider: it insulates their revenue from the performance of the product. If the leads convert, contractors stay voluntarily and the contract was unnecessary. The contract only earns its keep when contractors would otherwise leave — which is to say, when the leads don't pencil.
The structural version of this argument: services that sell each lead to 3-4 contractors know the per-contractor close rate is capped by that competition (the full breakdown is on our shared vs exclusive leads page). A capped close rate means churn pressure, and churn pressure is what multi-month commitments exist to absorb. A provider confident in its unit economics can afford to let you leave whenever you want.
How the no-contract model works at Roffy
The mechanics, straight from our published Terms: monthly subscriptions renew each billing cycle until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime from the Billing section of your dashboard or by emailing hello@roffy.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the cycle you've already paid for — you keep access and your leads through that date, and no refunds are issued for partial periods. To skip the next charge, cancel before 11:59 PM ET the day before your billing date. That's the entire policy.
One consequence of Roffy's region model is worth knowing: regions are capped at roughly 6-17 contractor spots, and when you cancel, your slot releases to the waitlist at the end of your paid cycle. No-contract cuts both ways — you can leave freely, and if your region has a waitlist, re-entry isn't guaranteed on your timeline. Contractors in high-demand storm-belt regions tend to hold their slot through slow weather months for exactly this reason.
Don't want a subscription at all? Buy once.
Each tier is available as a one-time purchase — Starter $298, Pro $698, Elite $1,398 — which gets you that tier's lead allotment and lockout window (50 leads / 30 days, 150 / 60, 400 / 90) with no recurring billing attached. Effective per-lead cost works out to roughly $4.50-$8 depending on tier.
This is also the cheapest honest way to evaluate Roffy: buy a one-time package, work the leads for a full cycle, and compute your cost per closed job — total spend divided by jobs signed. Compare that against the same number from your last 90 days of marketplace spend (our lead cost breakdown walks through the math). If the number wins, the monthly tiers are the volume version of the same product. If it doesn't, you walk away having signed nothing.
Questions to ask any lead provider before you commit
Whatever service you're evaluating — Roffy included — get written answers to four questions before money moves: How long is the commitment, and what does it cost to exit early? Can I cancel myself, or do I have to call someone? What exactly happens to unused leads and partial billing periods when I cancel? And how many other contractors receive each lead I'm paying for?
That last one is the question providers most often dodge, and it's the one that determines your close-rate ceiling. If the answers aren't published somewhere you can read them — the way Roffy publishes its Terms and pricing — treat the silence as the answer. Our lead service comparison applies this test across the major providers.
Frequently asked questions
Does Roffy require a contract?
No annual contract. Retail subscriptions are month-to-month, renew each billing cycle, and can be cancelled anytime from your dashboard's Billing section or by emailing hello@roffy.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid cycle; to avoid the next charge, cancel before 11:59 PM ET the day before your billing date.
Can I get exclusive roofing leads without any subscription?
Yes. Each tier is available as a one-time purchase — Starter $298, Pro $698, Elite $1,398 — with the tier's lead allotment and 30-90 day per-lead exclusivity lockout, and no recurring billing. Many contractors use a one-time package to measure cost per closed job before choosing a monthly tier.
Are there any fees besides the monthly price?
One: first-time monthly signups pay a one-time setup fee on the first invoice — $199 Starter, $299 Pro, $499 Elite — covering region-slot provisioning and seeding your initial lead pool. It's waived if you've previously made a one-time purchase under the same email, and it's published in our Terms rather than buried in a sales call.
What happens to my leads and my territory when I cancel?
You keep access through the end of the cycle you paid for, and leads already delivered are yours to keep working — each carries its exclusivity lockout from its delivery date. Your region slot releases to the waitlist when the paid cycle ends, so in a full region, rejoining later may mean waiting for an opening.
